The X32 has been around since 2012. But so far, there are no details on how signal processing is carried out in the mixing console. In this video, I would like to give you some insights into the reverse engineering that has been carried out so far. Over the past few months, we have been able to get the FPGA and the two Analog Devices SharcDSPs under control and implemented many of the mixer’s functions within our open source software “OpenX32.”
